Sid G. Brian, Owner/Developer

Sid graduated from Louisiana State University in 1978 and shortly thereafter began his career in banking and real estate. His early career following banking focused on commercial real estate development. Other than the four years in banking, Sid has been self-employed. His interests led to the development of Trinity Business Group, which now consists of 18 individual companies which include operating businesses as well as real estate and asset holding companies. HEVI construction is one of the companies that is a subsidiary of Trinity Business Group. He started HEVI Construction to gain more control over his real estate development projects. Building multi-family and student housing projects on a large scale was a key motivator to starting the construction company.

Jay Luna, General Manager

Jay graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Engineering with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. Jay began his professional career in construction in Oxford, Ms. As a Partner and Project Manager with BMC Construction in Oxford. In 2013 Jay and a partner formed Cross Construction Management and completed an 18 unit multi-family off campus student housing development as well as several single family high end custom homes in the Oxford, Mississippi area. Jay, who is also Sid Brian’s son-in-law, joined Trinity Business Group in 2015 and has represented Trinity’s development interests on construction in much larger scale projects such as 800 Park Condominium Development –Phase I and the Cottages at Hooper Hollow – Off Campus Student Housing. He has grown from Senior Project Manager to General Manager, with responsibility for management of multiple projects, financial performance of the company, internal staffing, and managing other project managers. He remains senior project manager on projects handling day to day operations including coordination with all contractors, quality control, change order evaluation and review, coordination with architect, as well as purchasing supplies.
